The NHA Scholarship Fund provides the following scholarships:
This corporate award honors those students who excel in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Raytheon believes that “tomorrow’s engineers and technologists need to be excited by and interested in math today.” Through the NHASF, Raytheon gives a deserving student a chance to broaden his/her horizons in the engineering, science, technical, and mathematical fields.

Each year, CAE trains more than 120,000 civil and defense crewmembers, as well as thousands of healthcare professionals. Since 2004, CAE has been the prime contractor responsible for providing the U.S. Navy with simulators and training devices for the MH-60S and MH-60R Seahawk helicopters.
Lockheed Martin in support of the NHA Scholarship honors a deserving student annually with this coporate sponsored scholarship in pursuing a higher level of education.
The NHA Scholarship Fund awards $3,000 annually to a military family member who is pursuing a guaduate degree.
The DPA Thousand Points of Light award is presented annually to a deserving student by the men and women of L-3 Communications and D.P. Associates in support of the NHA Scholarship Fund. L-3 and D.P. Associates are industry leaders in providing training materials and support to U.S. Navy and Marine Corps Fleet Readiness Squadrons and Weapon Schools throughout the United States
The Naval Helicopter Association (NHA) Presidents in support of five regional NHA Scholarship Fund awards $2,000 annually to military family members of the USN, USMC, or USCG rotary wing community in that particular region. See where your state fall on Region Map.
The NHA Scholarship Fund awards four active duty scholarships annually to active duty service member (USN, USMC, USCG) of the rotary wing community who are pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree.
Named in honor of elderest son of the legendary Igor Sikorsky, the Sergei Sikorsky Scholarship in support of the NHA Scholarship Fund is a coporate sponsored award given to a student pursuing higher level of education.
The NHA Historical Society (NHAHS) is proud to announce the establishment of the Captain Mark Starr Memorial Scholarship to be dministered each year by the Naval Helicopter Association Scholarship Fund. Captain Starr left legacy of service to the Naval Helicopter Community both on active duty and in retirement. He was a true pioneer in the rotary wing community and worthy of lasting recognition.
