The NHA Scholarship Fund will receive 2022 applications from 1 September 2021 through 31 January 2022. Prescreening includes sponsor being a current member of NHA in good standing for the last three (3) years since 31 January 2019 or a new NHA Lifetime Member on or after 15 Feb 2020 and you are pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree. Active duty Enlisted (E-6 and below), with a current helicopter affiliation (stationed in a helicopter or MV-22 squadron or other helicopter aviation unit) and their family members, are exempt from the NHA membership requirement. A recommendation or endorsement from his/her command is required. You are eligible to apply if you are a current member of the Naval Helicopter Association, or are the spouse, child, or grandchild of a current member, AND are:
1) A prospective undergraduate student (i.e., you will be pursuing your A.A., A.S., B.A., B.S., etc.) for the school year for which you are applying; or
2) A prospective graduate student (i.e., you will be pursuing your M.A., M.S., J.D., Ph.D., etc.) for the school year for which you are applying; or
3) On active duty and are a prospective undergraduate or graduate student for the school year for which you are applying.
